Medicare Billing Policy
Are You Eligible for Medicare-subsidised Chiropractic Care?
Some patients may be eligible for Medicare-subsidised chiropractic care under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from their GP. If eligible, Medicare covers up to 5 allied health visits per calendar year, shared across all allied health providers you see.
Our Medicare Billing Policy:
Healthcare Card holders with a valid CDM referral are bulk billed — no out-of-pocket cost.
Non-Healthcare Card holders with a valid CDM referral are asked to pay on the day and claim their rebate directly from Medicare. A small gap payment (usually under $10) will apply.
